24th global ICPA conference in Orlando, FL, USA
Sam Erry (IPS_Innovative Prison Systems board Advisor & former deputy solicitor general/deputy minister of corrections of Ontario) and Kathleen Van De Vijver, spokeswoman and head of international projects of FOD Justitie SPF Justice (Belgian prison service), presented the LEADCOR project on the role of Leadership on stress and burnout reduction in correctional settings, presenting as also the assessment and training materials and the positive results of the training delivered to prison professionals.

ICPA Virtual Annual Conference 2021
The LEADCOR Project was presented by Ana Rita Pires (IPS_Innovative Prison Systems) and Isabelle Storme (Belgian Federal Public Service of Justice). This year’s Annual Conference featured 70 Workshops and over 130 speakers from around the world, covering a wide range of topics from Correctional Leadership to Community-based Interventions. 

Stimulating Discussions on Prison Staff Motivation at the EPTA Annual Conference in Romania
​Discussions of the 2019 year’s conference revolved around how to best prepare, motivate and support prison staff working in often high-pressure and complicated environments. Workshops, organized by EPTA members themselves, included themes such as mentoring for starting prison officers, moral case deliberation, stress management, psychological well-being and staff recruitment.

2nd European Conference on Inmates' Health
Health Without Barriers, the European Federation for prison health and human rights in prison organised its second European conference on health care in prison in Lisbon on 21 and 22 October. The conference provided a space for discussion and exchange among health professionals working in prison in European and non-European countries.

WEPHREN 2020 - first global research conference on health & imprisonment London, United Kingdom, 20th to 21st October 2020. 
​It is going to be held in London, on the 20-21st October 2020.  The conference will focus on promoting prison-based research and capacity building to improve the health and wellbeing of those with experience of imprisonment across the world.
