Staff Training Events
The staff training events aimed not only on raising participants’ awareness on how leadership skills contributed to an effective stress management in the workplace, but also on training and enhancing their professional competences according to the much-needed skills for their curriculum.
1st Staff Training Event
Bremen, Germany (September 2021) The Bremen Ministry of Justice and Constitution organised the 1st Staff Training Event in Bremen, with the support of IPS_Innovative Prison Systems and University of Beira Interior (UBI). This 5-day training hybrid event (from 27th September to 1st October of 2021) gathered 17 face-to-face participants and 7 online participants from leadership positions in various prisons in Romania, Belgium, Germany, and Portugal. |
2nd Staff Training Event
Lisbon, Portugal (January/February 2022) IPS_Innovative Prison Systems hosted the 2nd Staff Training Event in Lisbon with the support of University of Beira Interior (UBI). The event counted with 31 participants from Romania, Belgium, Portugal, and Germany and the participants had the opportunity to get to know the LEADCOR leadership game and the e-learning different contents. |
3rd Staff Training Event
Ghent, Belgium (May 2022) Le Service Public Federal Justice organised the final Staff Training Event in Ghent, with the support of IPS_Innovative Prison Systems and University of Beira Interior (UBI). During this week, 44 trainees from Romania, Belgium, Portugal, and Germany have learned what stress, work and stress, burnout and the importance of coping with stress at work are. Also, they learned valuable insights on leadership, leadership styles and leadership competencies such as emotional intelligence, communication, conflict management, and time management. Shared knowledge and professional experiences took place between the participants from different cultures! |
